What is the data generator?
The data generator is a c/c++ based technology that compiles to any target platform that supports an ANSI standard compiler such as GCC. The technology does not require any other third party software and is a complete standalone solution.
What is the Team version of the product?
The Team version of the product is a server-based engine that can be installed on either a windows or unix platform and be accessed by an unlimited number of users at that location. The version of this product costs $4995.00 and comes with 12 months support.
What type of data does the SIO platform support?
The technology is based on four core data types (integer, floating point, long, and character). A library of 54 derived types are supplied as logical types in a pre-built functions library. The library also supports an unlimited set of user defined types.
How fast is the technology?
The SIO technology runs in-memory and supports all four of Flynn’s computer architecture classifications (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flynn%27s_taxonomy). This means that speed is limited only by the CPU, clock speed, and memory available on the machine. The processes run 100x faster than traditional solutions built on java, javascript, and other non-compiled, scripting languages.
How can I test the SIO technology?
Use the contact form and request the demo. We will contact you to determine which platform and OS you prefer to use for your evaluation.
How do your customers use the technology?
We support single developers, teams, Fortune 500 enterprises, and Independent Software Vendors who embed the technology in their solutions. We also support consulting and development partners who use the technology to model and simulate enterprise applications.
How does the OEM/ISV licensing model work?
The Synthetic IO technology can be embedded in any application that supports shared libraries, dynamic link libraries, or public/proprietary application programming interfaces (APIs). The technology can also be deployed via cloud-based hosting infrastructures.
Do my users and developers need to know how to program in C/C++ to be productive?
No. The technology uses a text-based file to configure the functionality and is self-describing using descriptive tags. Development teams can engage our consulting services for onsite code review and a source level deep dive in the product architecture. Our ISV/OEM customers learn the product in a one day, hands-on workshop that requires no prior knowledge of C/C++ programming.
Does Synthetic IO provide consulting, education, and training services?
Our senior consultants will work with you to develop a Success First Engagement Roadmap. This is designed to develop a risk/rewards matrix for moving forward with this class of technology. This is a one day onsite engagement and requires an investment of $5,000 USD plus travel expenses.
Does Synthetic IO license the technology to non-US based entities?
No. The technology is not approved for export outside the US.
Who can I talk to about our unique requirements?
You can send us an email using the form on the web site and we will be in touch.
Who are your customers?
While our customer list is confidential, our technology is licensed by Fortune 500, federal and state organizations, consulting firms, and Independent Software Vendors.
How do I make a "build or buy" decision?
There are a number of web-based and client/server developer tools that offer licenses starting at $69 and can run several thousand dollars per user. The SIO technology is designed to support enterprise scale applications. You could hire a senior developer and spend six figures over the course of a year to develop a home grown application. The alternative we provide is a proven enterprise class solution that can be deployed tomorrow and cost $37,500 for an enterprise license.
How does the SIO technology help my organization manage risk?
The SIO technology is designed for data-driven engineering organizations, especially those embracing AI, deep learning, and machine learning. The technology reduces the risks associated with delays to project timelines, risks due to developers being unable to test feature engineering and performance testing, The technology helps organizations meet time-to-market schedules, deliver alpha and beta versions on time, and deploy support and training applications to jump start user adoption. Sales engineers use the technology for rapid prototyping and development of proof of concepts.
